Removing the Front Porch

JP helped Jackhammer. There is a first time for everything.

As we broke up the front porch concrete, the backhoe scooped it away.

But, at this rate, this will take forever.

Our neighbors, Erectors West can fix this situation.

They can just LIFT that out of there.

Ahh. Now that piece is gone.

But, Now what will we do with it?

Lisa says that Tim LOVES to do this kind of stuff.

Seeing the look on his face, I think she is right

Lee and Dad Jack Hammering the porch away from the house.

Lee and Nick (from across the street) working together with the 90 pound Jack Hammer to break the BIG front porch into a smaller piece.

Now that looks like a managable size piece.

Now they can LIFT those pieces right out of there.

Nick and Tim were a great team. They lifted out the porch without hurting the house.

Lisa told them to be careful of the plants

Our Front Porch moved across the street.

The dump truck will come tomorrow and take it away.

Thanks to the neighbors, there was still time to play that day.

If we had used only our jackhammer, we would still be trying to get the front porch out.

Now, after some rest, we will be ready to continue our project.
